Single Mother of Three – Under the Lambeth / Home-Start Lambeth

Burcu Arslan provided structured psychological and communication support to a single mother of three children as part of a community-based programme delivered under the Lambeth and Home-Start umbrella.

The service focused on emotional regulation, stress management, and improving parent–child communication within a high-pressure family context.

Through this intervention, the client developed greater emotional awareness, increased confidence in parenting, and more effective communication skills when engaging with both her children and external professionals.

The support contributed to improved emotional stability, reduced isolation, and enhanced family wellbeing.

Long-Term Mentoring Support

Doceo Programme – Mentor (2 Years, Supporting 5 Students)

Burcu Arslan has been delivering mentoring support as part of the DOE Programme for over two years, working with a total of five students.

Her role involved providing structured guidance, emotional support, and developmental mentoring to support students’ personal growth, confidence, and communication skills.

Through regular mentoring sessions, students were supported in clarifying their goals, strengthening self-belief, and developing resilience during key academic and personal transitions.

This long-term mentoring engagement contributed to improved self-awareness, decision-making skills, and sustained personal development among participating students.
